Space design & build carried out a full renovation and wrap around rear extension to our terraced house which we purchased in a very poor condition.

Being inexperienced in house renovation we were very nervous about selecting the right builder. 
Phil Rourke from space design & build was one of about 7 builders we asked to quote for the work. He set a great impression from the start by turning up on time ( as most others did not ) making us feel at ease and from day one we felt he was the most enthusiastic and flexible about our project. We felt we would be in a safe pair of hands ..and we were right!

Their quote was not the cheapest one but it was clear they had spent time on it to get it right and we were confident through his transparency that the price would be the price they quoted…. and it was ! During the pricing stage Phil was very responsive to our queries and changes.

Phil and the space building team started working on the building work a couple of weeks before their quoted start date and estimated a 10-12 week build . All very accurate despite hitting a fair few unexpected obstacles.

The space team worked hard and showed great pride in their work. Our neighbours commented on how hard they worked and they built up a good rapport with them which was very important having such extensive work done.

Throughout the build Phil came to site most days and the team never once let us down. Phil regularly met us to discuss progress and helped us through some decision making .

We are absolutely thrilled with the renovation and would wholeheartedly recommend Space design & build!

The workmanship was of a very high quality and his team of tradesman all worked very well together.

Post build we had a couple of minor snags and Phil and the space team have remained very responsive and sorted them out very quickly.
